The Beet For Red Hoptober

History

The harvest season is a beautiful time of year to celebrate the dedication and passion of our local farmers by creating a harvest ale using the fruits of their labour. Beetroot from Roy’L Acres and organic wet hops straight from the vines at Bighead Hops. This is just a fun spin on tradition. A defined ale showcasing a little terroir of Georgian Bay.

Tasting Notes

A beautiful crimson red with a slight pink head showing off aromas of orange rind, lemongrass, pine, and a nice caramelized sugar. The flavour encompasses a lot of the earthy sweetness from the roasted golden and red beetroot balanced by the organic oily wet hops. This beer is nice and dry.
