India Session Ale

History

Session Ales are a relatively new style with no true definition yet. It is designed as a beer as rich and flavourful as an IPA, with all of the bitterness, hop aroma, and malt character, but with half the alcohol.

Tasting Notes

Cloudy bronze in colour with a thin white head. A dominant aroma of tropical fruits with light notes of biscuits and honey, the taste is up front bitterness with a touch of doughy sweetness and a sharp bitter lingering aftertaste. Relatively high carbonation helps to clear the palate and lends a feel of tartness and acidity.
